My therapeutic approach is based on the belief that each of us has an inherent wisdom that can guide us through both life’s greatest joys and challenges. My intention is to support you in connecting to that wise sense of yourself that may have gotten muted by trauma, lack of positive supports, self-judgment, or other factors. When we begin to listen deeply to our authentic selves, we are able to begin healing and participate more fully in our own lives. Some issues I have helped clients with are: working through past traumas, improving communication and intimacy in relationships, replacing critical thought patterns with self-compassion, learning to better regulate overwhelming emotions, creating self-care skills for depression and anxiety, transforming negative reactions into authentic responses, restructuring old belief systems, navigating life transitions with grace and wisdom, and increasing an integrated sense of self and overall well-being.
