An ideal client is committed to the therapeutic process; understanding that changing behaviors and thoughts that are problematic are vital parts of therapy. Making these changes can help in fostering a more fulfilling and enriching life. I believe in empowering clients through developing self-awareness and control; this helps to teach that he/she is the real reason positive change happens. I offer encouragement and development of healthy boundaries in a nonjudgmental environment. I have been employed in social services for over 20 years in various settings; inpatient/outpatient programs, correctional department, & private practice.
