Are you struggling with depression, anxiety or stress? Do you feel overwhelmed and unable to focus on getting better? I provide therapy in a safe and accepting environment where your problems can start to feel less overwhelming or all-consuming. I have over 15 years of experience in helping people find an increased sense of self-worth, joy and accomplishment in their lives. I can help you gain insight into your thoughts and feelings, develop coping skills and other strengths while honoring the unique person you are and the life-experiences you bring to therapy. I provide evidence based psychotherapy including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). However, I believe therapy is not “one size fits all”, and utilize a multi-modal and holistic approach as necessary. I received my Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Social Work from the University of Michigan. I trained and practice at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry and have formal training in CBT, IPT and ACT, Mindful Self-Compassion as well as ASIST training for suicide prevention.
