I am a mental health professional who believes that it is through a safe relationship that authentic change can take place. I'm aware that each person needs individualized care, and I look to remain gentle and curious towards others’ experiences. I've worked alongside adolescents, adults, and senior adults experiencing acute/complex trauma, disordered eating behaviors/body image, anxiety, relationship issues, religious/spiritual issues, grief, loss, and other life transitions. I approach my work with others from a trauma-informed lens and use other modalities such as psychodynamic theory, attachment theory, somatic movement, and parts work. All of this to say that our work is centered around the importance of establishing safety and connection in meaningful relationships. I consider it a deep privilege to work with others through all experiences of pain, healing, and personal growth. I hope that others will come to a deeper understanding of who they are and feel more connected to those around them. I graduated from Richmont Graduate University with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a graduate certificate in Trauma Counseling. My clinical experience has been shaped by her time volunteering in a women’s domestic shelter and working in a children’s advocacy nonprofit, a foster family agency, and in private practice. I am working towards licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in the State of Tennessee under the supervision of Tracy McKay, LPC-MHSP.
