Trauma-Based Marriage and Family Therapist Dr. Renee Miller, DBA Shades of Grace Trauma Therapy
Specialties: Trauma, PTSD, Complex PTSD, Childhood Trauma, Anxiety,

Introduction

I have over 20 years of experience as a depth-oriented, trauma-informed therapist. I offer virtual & in-person EMDR, IFS-informed EMDR, dream analysis, Connection-Focused Equine Therapy, all of which focuses on healing for trauma survivors and families in crisis, in addition to traditional talk therapy. I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, relationship stress, depression, issues related to childhood trauma, PTSD, Complex PTSD, and/or complicated grief. We delve deeply into the issues at hand and collaborate in a way that helps clients get their life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first 4 to 8 weeks, with sustained improvement thereafter. I approach trauma from every possible vantage point, since it is stored in the body, thoughts & beliefs, emotions, nervous system & soul. This is why we can feel triggered so easily. I have found both experiential & existential types of treatments to be very effective in resolving symptoms related to trauma, while also building resilience to future stress. I'm EMDRIA-certified in EMDR, certified in Connection-Focused Equine Therapy, IFS/Parts Work, Sand Tray, and Dream Analysis/Tending.
