My name is Meagan Fischer. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I began working as a therapist in 2018 with an amazing group practice! After some life and business transitions, I had to decide what I would do next. I never thought I would be starting my own practice. Paperwork is a scary thing for me! In 2024, I started Revive & Transform Counseling with the support of some pretty awesome colleagues and some amazing friends and family. I wanted to choose a name for my business that encompasses what I believe therapy to truly be- a space to revive the relationship with self (away from the outside world) and make transformations through an empathic and open space of healing. I also wanted to create a logo that resembled growth and prosperity. Through the power of a safe space, the mind can blossom new and create novel relationships with what was already there. I work with pre-teens through adults and work with many issues along with specialty areas including struggles with mood disorders, life transitions, eating disorders/disordered eating, food struggles, body image, self-esteem, trauma, and relationship concerns. Each day I get the honor of sitting with clients during their most vulnerable times. I believe it takes immense strength to sit in the therapy room and share the high highs and the low lows. Often, I think there can be a lot of stigmas around counseling and mental health. Sometimes there is the perception that it is not sufficient to sit with our emotions or that there must be something ‘big’ that happens to seek out help. I am an avid supporter that everyone needs help at some point in their lives, whether it is for a big life event or the daily stressors. I am currently a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While I do not accept insurance directly, your insurance plan may have out-of-network benefits and may reimburse you for a portion of our session cost. In addition, I can provide a coded billing statement (or what is called a superbill) for you to send to your insurance company for them to directly reimburse you the cost. I will often provide this for clients and help many clients out of network. I understand therapy is an investment and I do everything I can to work with clients on fees so they are not a block to treatment.
