I'm a somatic and mindfulness based psychotherapist specializing in PTSD and Relational Trauma. I believe the body & mind are intimately connected and feel passionate about supporting people in feeling safe and at home in their bodies. I offer an integrative approach combining EMDR and IFS, rooted in a strong foundation of teaching & practicing the cultivation of mindfulness and self-compassion. I've been in private practice for 16 years working with adults seeking relief from anxiety, depression, chronic stress, addictive behaviors and emotion dysregulation. I'm also a Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist offering Preparation and Integration Sessions to individuals and groups interested in exploring expanded states of consciousness for trauma healing, personal and spiritual growth. By inviting the unconscious into consciousness, we create the opportunity for knowing, seeing and feeling into ourselves in new and profound ways that may not be accessible to us in our ordinary states. I believe our wounding often holds the most wisdom, and when we're able to access it in a safe and supported way, can offer empowering insights and transformative shifts out of our long held and limiting patterns of believing, behaving and relating to ourselves and others. Alongside my work as a therapist, I've also been a teacher and practitioner of yoga, buddhist meditation and mindfulness for the past 20 years. This has been an essential source of support and inspiration in both personal and professional life, and deeply informs my work with others.
