I am a Connecticut Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and received my BA in Psychology from St. Leo University and my Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University. I am a veteran of the United States Air Force, with law enforcement experience, and have been connected with the military for the last 20 years. I have lived all over the world and have experienced many different cultures. In addition, I have gone through, and fully understand, the ins and outs that the military lifestyle can bring. After completing my education, I started working within the judicial system as a diversion therapist, helping defendants obtain the necessary mental health or substance abuse treatment. After gaining a lot from the judicial system, and growing as a clinician, I am now seeking Telehealth clients for individual or couples counseling with Aris Telehealth practice in CT. I have experience working with clients that struggle with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship issues. I prefer to stick to DBT, CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused therapy modalities, but will happily adapt to you and your needs. If you are struggling with any of the above, I would love to sit down and see how I can be helpful through this difficult time. Life is hard sometimes. Let's figure out together how to make it suck less.
