Introduction
As a behaviorally oriented practitioner, I focus on the factors that maintain your referral behaviors. I have a focus on the here and now and spend time in treatment with you practicing new ways to behave and think. To help you maintain the behavior change you want to learn, I use social supports in almost all of my interventions. I am trained and an international consultant in various evidenced based models for the treatment of panic, anxiety, PTSD, depression, substance abuse and family/couples therapy. My treatment of anxiety disorders is consistent with a counter conditioning and exposure based approaches. My marital therapy approach combines research driven skills training with acceptance approaches. Also, my child and adolescent treatment uses a family system approach. I use behavioral couples therapy, relapse prevention and contingency management techniques for substance abuse.
