Introduction

For the past 12 years, I have dedicated my practice to supporting individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies on their journey towards overcoming challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and trauma. With a background in teaching and school counseling, I strongly believe in the power of education and personal growth. That's why I also provide clinical supervision to Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPC-A), as I believe in fostering the growth of future counselors. Approaching therapy with compassion, collaboration, and a holistic mindset, I am here to guide and encourage you on your unique path through life. Creating a safe and uplifting therapeutic environment is my utmost priority, where you can freely explore and embrace your true self, finding inner peace and tranquility. My therapeutic orientation is eclectic, meaning I draw from a range of evidence-based theoretical approaches and interventions tailored specifically to meet your individual needs. I primarily utilize the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, which incorporates EMDR, along with other approaches such as IFS, CBT, ACT, DBT, person-centered therapy, and motivational interviewing. By considering your mind, body, and spirit, I believe in taking a holistic and humanistic approach to therapy. My true passion lies in helping others find peace and equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to live fulfilling lives. As a therapist, I am committed to assisting my clients in gaining a deeper understanding of their true selves, their roots, their desires, and their direction in life. It's completely normal to feel scared or overwhelmed when faced with life's challenges. Apprehensions or fears about therapy are valid, and you are not alone in experiencing them. Remember, we are in this together, and I eagerly look forward to embarking on this transformative journey by your side.
