I have been working as a psychotherapist since 2016, and I like helping people better manage living out their own sense of a valued life in a world that often doesn't make that easy. Trauma, anxiety, depression, and our own pasts often get in the way, and I help to better approach the internal barriers that often build up around our past, as well as with finding ways to better manage the difficulties life is constantly throwing our way. I specialize in work with sexual, romantic, and gender minorities, meaning queer, poly, kinky, and more, all of whom frequently have struggles with feeling able to be genuine in a culture that often doesn't make space to show up genuinely. I also work more generally as a sex therapist, helping people have more fulfilling connection to their sexual selves. Each of my degrees was in a slightly different social science field: Psychology, Social Work, and Human Sexuality. This, along with my own enjoyment of novel experience and learning, has given me a broad perspective I find very useful in connecting with my clients.
