Introduction

As a clinician, I integrate a variety of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Relational, and Multicultural approaches to meet client needs. Fundamentally, I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is most crucial to effective therapy. In order to achieve a strong professional relationship, I focus on creating a safe, growth promoting environment in therapy. Within this emphasis, I recognize the importance of identity, culture, and client experiences as being crucial to understanding a client’s life, struggles, and strengths.
