Behavioral health therapy Robin Cooper, LCSW, M.Ed.
Specialties: Adjustment Disorder, Anger Management, Behavioral Issues, Communication Issues, Compulsive Behavior,

Introduction

Robin graduated from Widener University’s Human Sexuality and Social Work programs in 2012. Her primary focus in therapy is supporting individuals navigating relationships ranging from typical difficulties in dating and relationships to supporting individuals who have committed violations of personal safety in relationships (both convicted and non-convicted). She believes that therapy is a partnership between therapist and client. Her approach often focuses on strengthening communication, boundaries, and considering personal accountability for daily life. She also uses mindfulness as a means to building insight into one’s mental and emotional needs so that each individual can better understand how to meet those needs. She believes that most of the concerns that bring us into therapy are prevalent in our daily lives, motivating a conversational approach to sessions. She also prioritizes a philosophy of healing as a continuous process of increased insight and coping; rather than an eradication of uncomfortable emotions. She works with individuals ages 15 and older; is kink and non monogamy friendly.
