I typically work with clients who tend to feel any combination of the following: depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, over-stressed, or "stuck." Things aren't working in their life. They're at a loss as to what to do to improve their sense of well-being. They would love to be happier but what they're doing isn't working. So they're reaching out to see what can be done to get things on track. I see psychotherapy as providing three main benefits: 1) understand how you got to be the person you are, 2) heal from injuries and solve problems that prevent you from being happier, and 3) gain insight and clarity on what will potentially make you happier and work toward it. You are the expert on you, in the sense of defining what your priorities in life are, and what might make you happier. I bring tools, knowledge, and clinical experience to assist you in achieving better clarity about how to do that.
