Introduction

People are my passion. I am curious by nature about people and how I might best serve them. My approach to therapy is collaborative and straightforward with honest communication and services grounded in cutting edge science. I bring kindness, compassion, and humor to the counseling process and work from a strengths-based perspective to help you explore issues interfering with your happiness, contentment or progress in areas of your life. My practice over the past 30 years is quite eclectic drawing primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ACT, DBT, MBCT), but also integrates holistic, Humanistic and Solution Focused elements. I do not bill insurance for many reasons. Private paying in lieu of using insurance benefits ensures the utmost discretion and privacy where medical records are concerned. Also, it ensures that treatment options and durations are not limited by the restrictions imposed by insurance companies. Therapy is offered via telehealth, a convenient and easily accessible way to be connected for our work together.
