Rose Walker is an experienced Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Missouri and Kansas with extensive experience working with every age group providing various forms of therapeutic intervention services. Rose has a master’s degree in the art of counseling specializing in marriage, family and child counseling. She comes with over 10 years of experience administering crisis therapeutic interventions with children, adolescents, and adults in community-based settings, inpatient substance use and outpatient private practice. Rose is diverse in counseling and has proven to provide a strong foundation to help clients address a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, perinatal and , grief, difficulties managing anger, low self-esteem, family conflicts, academic difficulties, peer conflict, and work stress. Rose approach to therapy generally focuses on using evidence-based treatment including Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She also uses person-centered therapy and believes that every person is the expert on their life and her job is to come along and help them remember that. She is passionate about helping people in their everyday life manage crisis situations, find resources and support to restore balance during some of the most traumatic, chaotic, and stressful times in their lives. As a therapist, her goal has been to help people navigate change, promote growth, and restore hope.
