As the founder of Global Counseling Services in Newport News, Virginia, she believes that there are multiple approaches to one’s problems. She also carries more than 15 years of experience in the counseling field. In addition, she has been trained in Gestalt and Existential therapies, techniques, and intervention with a Level-One EMDR certification. An Esteemed Academic Mrs. Britt finished her Master’s Degree in Licensed Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Before that, she attended Christopher Newport University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Public Administration with a focus in Criminal Justice. She also earned an Associate’s Degree in Police Science (Law Enforcement). A Dedicated Leader She has worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer and an Executive Asset Protection Team Leader for a major retail store. Mrs. Britt also became a Criminal Justice Teacher and taught high school juniors and seniors. A Passionate Individual Roshon enjoys reading, playing board games, traveling, learning new things, and spending time with her family. She also has a passion for helping others heal from emotional pain, overcoming mental illness, as well as seeing marriages and families restored. In addition, Roshon is a Christian who believes that her counseling skills are a gift from God.
