RoyLynn moved to the Rogue Valley in 2014 and found her forever home with the most awesome husband to ever roam the planet and their dogs Eddie Van Tailen and Abby. With the support of her family, she has pursued education as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, and is excited to be able to offer her services to the Southern Oregon community beginning February 2025. Her passion in mental health is geared towards eating disorders and behavior change through psychotherapy. While she focuses her care on clients aged 6 – 30, for clients with eating disorders there are no age restrictions. She additionally has experience in addressing ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and various stressors. Her approach blends evidence-based therapies with empathy, understanding and education to empower young folks with the tools they need to thrive throughout life. She delivers her personalized care in a safe and supportive space that honors a client's unique experiences and goals, and collaborates with clients and their families using supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy, nutrition, supplements, sleep hygiene, stress reduction, psychoeducation and medications when appropriate. Her favorite ways to pass time include snuggling with her hubs and pups, spending time with family, reading, quilting, sewing, puzzles, learning, and being in nature.
