A lighthouse is a structure with a warning light, a beacon, that’s purpose is to help sailors’ safely navigate the obstacles at sea and rocky coastlines, through darkness and fog. Lighthouses are often viewed as iconic symbols of guidance, strength, safety, and resilience. Their key function is to increase the sailors’ level of awareness of themselves and their surroundings as they navigate the waters. What if the lighthouse’s beacon was turned off? Take a moment and imagine what it must be like for a sailor navigating their vessel through potentially rough, dangerous seas, amidst the darkness, with no guidance. Have you ever felt like life is like that sometimes? Have you ever felt lost, scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to navigate the obstacles and challenges of life? Perhaps you feel like you have lost sight of who you are and what you want out of life and that is why you are here.
