I'm Dr. Sage Willis (they/them), a non-binary queer psychologist committed to working alongside Bellingham's LGBTQIA+ community. I'm here to help you navigate depression, grief, bipolar disorder, anxiety, adjustment to changes, entering and succeeding in college, and spiritual/religious issues together. Wherever you find yourself on your path right now, I'd love to walk with you! I love working with nerds and I often find nerd references, video games, and memes to be useful in building a shared language with clients. I am flexible in my approach and will work to meet you wherever you're at. My style is kindhearted, empathetic, and down-to-earth, but also spicy, full of sass, and prone to profanity. I tend to communicate in metaphors with clients, so if metaphors are difficult for you to follow, we may not be a good fit, and that's okay! Nobody can be a perfect fit for everyone. When I’m not doing therapy, I enjoy spending time studying foreign languages, practicing martial arts, throwing around my kettlebells, or engaging in some form of creative endeavor. I enjoy learning about other cultures and being bad at new things so I might eventually learn how to get good at them! Let's chat and find out if I'm the right fit for you— I am so glad you're here.
