Introduction

With nearly a decade of experience in complex trauma, I’ve learned healing is slow, in the same way that trauma is fast. Counseling isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I tailor my approach to your needs. I believe in being direct, while staying true to my compassionate nature. I use evidence-based approaches to support trauma recovery, improve emotional regulation, and help you rebuild a sense of safety, identity, and connection. I specialize in working with complex trauma, grief, and loss. I have a certificate in perinatal mental health and enjoy supporting women and couples through this stage of life. I also help with navigating day-to-day stressors, anxiety, and depression. I work best with anyone over the age of 14 and enjoy working with couples. I use Internal Family Systems and EMDR in therapy. IFS helps explore different parts of yourself-it gives us language for what is happening internally. EMDR processes past experiences that cause distress or unwanted thoughts & feelings- it helps soothe our nervous system. I am currently accepting new clients so feel free to reach out with any questions!
