Introduction

I am passionate about helping you see what’s possible in your life! Our sessions will focus on moving towards your goals and unraveling the thoughts and feelings that are acting as obstacles and standing in your way. While I believe all of us know our right path, too often, our path becomes buried by everyday life and thoughts that trip us up. Working together, my role is to help you uncover this knowing for yourself. The answers may not always be obvious and we may need to dig to get to the root of what’s holding you back. Be assured, I’ll be alongside you on your journey, helping you to think and do things in new ways. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado. This allows me to provide in-person and telehealth professional therapy and counseling sessions for Colorado residents. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado and a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan. I'm also trained by Dr. Martha Beck, renowned Harvard scholar and columnist for O, the Oprah Magazine, and certified as a Life Coach I know deciding if you need a therapist or coach can be confusing. Working together - with my education, training, and real-world work experiences - I like to think you will benefit from the best of both approaches. I also understand the demands and challenge of excelling in corporate America while striving to have a meaningful personal life. I worked in healthcare technology for many years prior to launching my private practice. My Approach to Therapy: My focus is on helping you get the results that you want. I work from a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) perspective to help you change unhelpful thinking and behaviors which lead to improvement in your mood and functioning. I also borrow from other therapeutic and coaching techniques to help you meet your goals and relieve troubling symptoms.
