Introduction

I am a dual board certified psychiatrist and addiction specialist with over 15 years of experience treating women struggling with anxiety, addiction, relationship issues and trauma. If you have been suffering on your own, I want you to know that there is hope for relief, and that there is a future out there where you no longer feel weighed down, where you can thrive and fulfill your potential. I can help you address and relieve the emotional suffering that brought you to treatment, and help you create a life that is content, peaceful, and congruent with who you are at your core. I specialize in psychotherapy, with integrated use of medications as needed. In addition to a medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and a residency in psychiatry, I pursued specialized psychotherapy training. I am experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness based therapy, EMDR, and Islamically integrated therapy. Congratulations on taking the first steps towards meaningful change in your life—I know it can be a daunting task to find a therapist and enter into the unknown. My website can address any questions you might have, and I offer secure video appointments, convenient online scheduling, and a free screening consultation: www.peacetreementalhealth.com
