My role is to increase your self-awareness to identify what you value, what is currently working in your life, and what is getting in the way of you living the life you want to live. I view therapy as a partnership wherein my role is to help you to move towards the life you want to live based on your values. I will also teach you skills based on ACT, DBT, and CBT. My background is in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, including OCD, as well as stress management. I specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). I worked for Linden Oaks Behavioral Health in Naperville as a clinical therapist serving a wide array of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and OCD for 10 years. This has afforded me a wealth of knowledge about how to best treat anxiety and depression. I look forward to speaking with you about how I can meet your needs as therapy is not one size fits all.
