Introduction

Are you struggling to move through the pain of infertility, pregnancy loss, or difficult reproductive choices? Are you moving through the process of assisted reproduction? Are you finding it difficult to bond with your baby? The grief, anger, anxiety, and shame can be overwhelming. So many people experience the pain of the loss of identity, relationship, hopes, and dreams related to difficult reproductive choices, events, and challenges. So many of them do so in silence and isolation. You don't have to. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- My work centers on relationship-based care meeting the needs of families during vulnerable reproductive and early parenting experiences. I specialize in virtual therapy for people navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, traumatic birth, and postpartum adjustment, including birthing caregivers, support partners, couples, and gestational carriers. My approach is grounded in attachment and trauma theories, and an understanding of how these experiences intersect with identity and relationships. We will work together to co-create the therapeutic space. I hold unconditional positive regard - a compassionate space for everyBODY. Your experiences are unique and there is no one-size-fits-all therapeutic approach. The journey through reproductive experiences and choices is also unique. Connecting with a therapist who has experience and expertise in perinatal mental health is paramount. I bring experience and extensive training in support of reproductive healing and wellbeing. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I believe that every person and family constellation deserves expert support including, but not limited to, people with disabilities, larger bodies, LGBTQ+ identities, single caregivers, adoptive caregivers, and gestational carriers. I believe every person and family deserves to be well and to thrive rather than simply survive. Having expertise in reproductive therapy requires training and experience in both mental and physical health. I have worked as a psychologist in Pediatrics, OBGYN, and Family Medicine allowing me to better understand the medical diagnoses, procedures, and traumas that people moving through their reproductive journeys may experience. Whether you are grieving, planning, doing, or adjusting, I am here to walk alongside you through this part of your journey. I will meet you in the middle - in The Middle - just as you are right now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Schedule a no-cost 15 minute consultation to learn more. I look forward to meeting you. Immediate Friday and Weekend availability! Don't see an appointment time that works for you? Reach out to see if there is a new opening. The Middle Counseling and Reflective S/C accepts limited insurance plans (Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts) and is primarily a self-pay private practice, offering a higher level of privacy, flexibility, and confidentiality. Clients will automatically receive a "Super Bill" that can be used to request reimbursement from your insurance company at their Out of Network rate. I also use a "Pay What It's Worth" fee model. This means that clients pay the minimum rate for their sessions, but also have the opportunity to pay what they believe the sessions are worth. Any additional amount above your $200 investment in yourself goes toward offering low-cost mental health services for traditionally marginalized communities.
