Introduction

My name is Sara Scott and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Connecticut. I have many years of experience treating individuals of all ages. It has always been a desire of mine to "chip away" at the stigma related to mental health and addiction. After a long personal struggle, that passion only grew stronger. Stigma only holds individuals back from getting help, and you deserve the help. I specialize in working with individuals over the age of 15, with a special interest in young adults (ages 18-26). I've treated many cases including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use disorders, self-esteem issues, perfectionism, relationship struggles, communication barriers, OCD, LGBTQIA+ individuals and beyond. It is also important to note that I am a lyme literate therapist, and enjoy helping those in the chronic illness community. My style of therapy is making sure you leave our session feeling like you have skills, guidance, and insight into your struggles. Don't hesitate to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation if you or someone you know is looking for care, and you think I might be a good fit. Please note that all sessions are out of network at this time, but I am able to provide you with a bill to submit to your insurance if you have out of network benefits. I encourage you to call your insurance ahead of time if you are interested in using OON benefits. Intake session (1.5 hours) - $315 Individual sessions ( 1 hour) - $250 Family sessions (1 hour) - $250
