I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a trauma-informed holistic approach to therapy. I’m most passionate about empowering folks to mindfully engage in a process of self-discovery and transformation. I’m dedicated to normalizing mental health and squashing the idea that healing is only for the privileged. I am committed to a process of decolonizing mental healthcare and seeking to find healing, meaning, and connection through culturally-affirming practices. There is no shame in exploring different aspects of your life experiences, identity, values, and relationships. Taking time to attune to your mind, feelings, body, relationships, or spirituality is a powerful expression of self-compassion and connectivity. I work with people from all backgrounds, from public schools to community mental health agencies and immigrant-rich cultural institutions. As a South Asian-American daughter of an immigrant, I honor the many ways in which our different identities intersect and shape our unique psychological patterns and ways of being. I take a holistic approach to help you release the negative effects of trauma on your body, mind, and spirit. I integrate EMDR, Brainspotting, mindfulness, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems, and yoga-based psychotherapy to help reestablish ownership of your body and mind and attune to your feelings without becoming overwhelmed, ashamed, enraged, or shut down. This approach promotes greater resilience, increased energy, and stronger interpersonal relationships, allowing you to live your best life.
