Introduction

My name is Sara Spear. I was born and raised in the Adirondack region but have spent nearly half this lifetime traveling the world recreationally and as an Airman in the United States Air Force. I am a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity to work closely with mental health professionals all around this community. Additionally, I have built close relationships with these organizations so that I am better able to collaborate and coordinate care and services. I have experience working with children, adolescent, teens, adults, and families. I provide a person-centered approach to therapy while also utilizing other theoretical approaches such as cognitive behavioral & psychodynamic therapy. Within these practices, I also create an environment of safety, empowerment and healing. Whether it is you, your child, or family let's start this transformational journey together!
