My name is Sarah, and I am a clinical director and therapist at Phoenix Health and Wellbeing. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and PTSD. I believe that change is possible. Once we work together, I am dedicated to helping you make effective changes. I work primarily with clients aged 16 and up. I currently offer both in-person and telehealth services. One of my main goals during our time together is to provide a judgment-free space and to give you unconditional positive regard. I believe that both of these elements are fundamental to building trust and rapport. I am a trauma-informed provider trained in EMDR. I also utilize a combination of therapies to help my clients heal and recover, including mindfulness and holistic therapies, acceptance and commitment-based therapy, CBT, and DBT. I teach my clients to learn to be kinder to themselves, feel more confident, and improve their overall functioning/quality of life. Finding the right therapist can be challenging, overwhelming, or even scary. To help make the process easier for you and to determine if we are a good fit, I offer free 15-minute phone consultations. We can get to know each other, connect and discuss your initial goals in therapy. The consultation is helpful and a great way to build a therapeutic alliance.
