Do you find it hard to love or accept certain parts of yourself? Maybe you want to step outside your comfort zone, but the fear of rejection or not being “enough” holds you back. Or perhaps you feel stuck in relationship patterns that leave you confused or unfulfilled. How we relate to ourselves and others is often shaped by our environment and earlier life experiences—especially when our basic needs for love, connection, or safety weren’t fully met. I support adults who are navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, low self-worth, and relationship challenges, to feel more connected, grounded, and less defined by their past. I also work with individuals who are experiencing grief—you know the kind that doesn’t always have clear words. Grief can show up in many forms: from the death of a loved one, to the end of a relationship, a shift in identity, pet loss, or even unfulfilled dreams. I offer a compassionate space to honor your loss and help you carry it with care and meaning. My approach is warm, lighthearted, conversational, and collaborative. I draw from inner child work, mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I’m trained in Somatic and Attachment-Focused EMDR. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming! I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can begin to explore whether we’re a good fit. For more information go to: www.beneaththesurfacecounseling.com
