Sarah specializes in working with adults, couples, parents and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, career choices or dealing with life transitions. As your therapist, Sarah will provide you with a safe, supportive and compassionate environment. She will work collaboratively with you to tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and goals. This may mean exploring patterns of thoughts or behaviors that are getting in the way of reaching your goals, looking at new skills or strategies to help create long-term changes, or improving areas of concern in your relationships. Sarah has extensive training in mindfulness, CBT (thoughts, feelings, behaviors) and DBT (mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness). She's also trained in Gottman's Method Couples' Therapy Level 1 & 2, which uses research-based techniques to improve communication, connection, and satisfaction in relationships. Seeing the difference therapy can make in life and relationships is what led Sarah to become a therapist. With 12 years of prior experience in education as a teacher, coach and counselor, she brings a diverse set of skills, insight and understanding. Sarah would be honored to be a part of your journey towards personal growth and achieving your goals.
