The decision to begin therapy or find a new therapist can feel overwhelming, and if you're seeking therapy, there's a chance you were already feeling some overwhelm before you started this process. I hope I can simplify this process by letting you know a bit about me and my practice, Bloom Yoga and Counseling. I work primarily with adults, and occasionally older teens. Clients who work with me are looking for a nurturing, safe, space to begin to unpack past hurts and traumas. I offer a collaborative approach to heal, learn, and grow. As a trauma therapist, I implement mindfulness and other techniques to help my clients learn to regulate their nervous systems so that they can stop feeling like they are in an endless state of survival. I offer a somatic approach to healing, helping clients to feel safe within their body by learning to attune to their emotions without judgment. Beginning (or continuing) your healing work is an important decision that impacts every area of your life. Be picky about you who choose to help you on that journey.
