There is a quote by Audrey Hepburn that has become a life motto for myself and it states: “nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’!" I believe we are all put here on this Earth together to help one another. I’m passionate about helping people tap into their individual potential and become the best version of themselves. Stemming from my desire to help people and our communities, I have served in restorative justice and community development to help cultivate individuals and watch them flourish within their communities. People are worth investing in. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to helping individuals learn how to build healthier relationships with themselves and others. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, and beliefs. Using an integrative model of change, I will highlight the strengths of different theories to fit the client’s identified needs. As a disabled veteran, I have helped develop several programs for veterans transitioning from military life to civilian life because while I remember how much of struggle I encountered in my own transitional journey, today, with help from others, I am flourishing. I am fortunate to share my life with my wonderful husband and 3 dogs (Ember, Mikey and Skylar).
