My therapeutic approach seeks to raise self-awareness and to equip clients with the insights and coping skills to address anxiety, depression, other mental health disorders, adjustment to life and career changes, and the challenges and stressors of everyday life. I draw from several techniques, applying those that best suit the client's needs. I'm especially interested in the emerging understanding of brain health and how we might influence it. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey, and a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York. I earned my MSW from New York University, followed by a certificate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health. I earned my undergraduate degree from Cornell University. I have worked with adults and teens in out-patient psychotherapy, residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, and in-patient psychiatric hospital settings.
