Hi there. I'm so happy you're here. Life can be challenging, and with anxiety, depression, trauma, or an eating disorder, it can be hard to find enjoyment, manage daily tasks, or feel like yourself. Therapy has the unique ability to heal and transform lives - and I know how difficult it can be to reach out for support. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College in New York City. I have experience working at an eating disorder treatment center at the residential and day treatment level, as well as in outpatient care. I have supported individuals as they recover from eating disorders, cope with negative body image, combat depression and anxiety, and work through relationship difficulties. My lived experience as a recovered person gives me a deep understanding of the struggles that comes along with these diagnoses. I use an integrative and collaborative approach, utilizing a variety of different therapeutic modalities based on what will meet your individual needs. I practice from a Health At Every Size framework, meaning all bodies are worthy of respect. I work to ensure all people, regardless of body size, race, religion, ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation have a safe and affirming space to explore their life experiences. I take a human first approach and believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to healing. At its core, therapy is the relationship between two people built on genuineness, trust, and respect. Through authenticity, compassion, humor, and warmth, I work with clients to meet their goals and tackle challenges together. Life can be hard, but you don’t have to go through it alone. I look forward to hearing from you.
