Introduction

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I'm glad you're here whether it's your first time or fifth time looking for a counselor. My special interests are working with clients who experienced family of origin trauma, helping address potential causes of anxiety and depression, and learn effective coping skills. Clients may also desire a listening ear in the midst of grief and loss, encouragement in life transitions or postpartum, explore communication and boundaries to minimize family conflict, or compassionate support while processing other traumatic events such as sexual abuse or intimate partner violence. My goal is to help you achieve yours! My clients may wish to utilize EMDR for trauma processing. My hope is that you will feel less "triggered" by painful memories and more in control of your life. I utilize REBT to help clients understand and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns. I feel honored when people share their joys and hardships with me. My hope is to make clients feel comfortable, respected, heard, and supported. It would be a privilege to be a part of your healing and growth process. I am currently seeing clients Monday-Friday.
