Do you struggle with worrying too much, feeling like you're always in your head or find uncertainty hard to tolerate? Feeling down, not enjoying the things you used to, having trouble concentrating, or feeling irritable could be making you feel stuck. Sometimes you just know that you don't feel like yourself. We are particularly vulnerable to feeling this way during or after a life transition or change. We can work together to gain clarity and develop skills for managing stress and emotional challenges. I have worked in the counseling field for over a decade supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression, perinatal issues (such as postpartum depression and anxiety) self esteem issues, life transitions, and substance use disorders. I help people deal with difficult thoughts and feelings by learning to accept them rather then struggle against them. We will focus on becoming aware of your thoughts and feelings without letting them control your actions. We will also work to understand what truly matters to you in life and set goals that reflect those values. I am currently accepting clients for telehealth therapy in Rhode Island. I work with adults, ages 18 and over. I accept Blue Cross, United Health an Neighborhood Health Plan of RI. The self pay rate is $125 a session.
