What is Walk and Talk Therapy? We meet in a public space and engage in therapy while walking outdoors in nature. Meet Sarah! I completed my Masters in Social Work at University of Wisconsin Whitewater. I have quality experience working with people living with mood disorders and a variety of mental health diagnoses. I am trained in a variety of evidence -based modalities (see list below). I truly enjoy being a therapist. Genuine connection with my clients and supporting the change process is amazing to be part of. It is not about "self improvement" it is about self acceptance leading to empowering change. I've been there. I come to the therapeutic relationship from a place of compassion, non-judgementalness and a belief that the path out of depression, grief and pain is based in genuine human connection and application of skills to improve distress tolerance, emotion regulation, mindfulness and communication. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and welcome clients of all racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds. Sliding scale available via Open Path
