Introduction

Well, hi there! I have worked in the behavioral health field for over 18 years, and I am very passionate about my field. I consider myself the same person inside and outside of sessions. What you see is who I am in real life: Laid-back, calm, attentive, and I occasionally bring humor and pop culture references into session. I genuinely care about people. I love working with motivated clients who have a sense of humor, and are willing to take action steps towards goals. I love being able to tailor to client's individual needs, whether it's processing and understanding family of origin issues, problem-solving through daily stressors, or providing space to process trauma. My clients want to understand how to improve their relationships, build healthier beliefs that suit them, and see the therapeutic relationship as a tool in and of itself.
