I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Savannah and I am passionate about helping people feel safe, welcomed, and listened to. I work primarily with adolescents, college students, and young adults, but I am happy to work with anyone in need. I offer support for depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions/adjustments, and self-esteem. I strive to be welcoming of all identities, ethnicities, cultures, and beliefs and work to create a safe and comforting environment for everyone. I believe that it is important to simply listen and understand, allowing people to make choices for themselves and set their own goals for therapy. I employ an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing a variety of evidence-based approaches including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method, Solution-Focused Therapy, and coping skills. I work to tailor sessions to meet each client’s unique needs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma. I received my Master of Education in Clinical Professional Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. I feel very honored and grateful to the people who share their stories with me. It is a privilege to be invited to join others on their journey. I look forward to working with you to create a healing alliance that makes space for change and growth. In sessions, I enjoy working alongside clients to identify and address a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, stress, coping Skills, life adjustments/transitions, self esteem, pre-marital, and relational difficulties. I would also love to focus a little on what makes me, me. My hobbies include trying new restaurants, visiting art museums, home DIYs, and crafting. I’m married and I have a yorkie named Benny. One of my favorite traditions is dressing my dog up for Halloween (I would love to show you pictures). I love spending time with friends and family, British comedians, and breakfast cereals.
