Scott works with individuals and couples who seek positive change in themselves, their relationships, and the way they relate to the world. He supports clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, the stress of work or home life, adjusting to a new situation, or anything they feel is holding them back from thriving and living the life they desire. As clients discover and learn more about themselves, they can begin to effect change and move toward a life more suited to their needs, wants, skills, and abilities. After practicing law for seven years, Scott experienced occupational burnout and sought work that was more personally fulfilling and centered around relationships and connection. He believes change occurs in the context of a safe, trusting, vulnerable environment, and the therapeutic style is conversational and empathetic, yet direct.
