Introduction

Maybe you are trying to understand your difficulties, and what you can do about them. You might sometimes feel flooded with overwhelming and confusing feelings. You might feel numb or disconnected, struggling to feel anything. You may have tried to change your behavior, but you see the same problems coming up again and again in your relationships. Maybe you long to find a sense of meaning, to connect with your authentic self, or to feel more fully alive. Your pain, experiences, and feelings are real and understandable. You deserve to be seen, heard, and understood. I am glad you are looking for help. --------------------------- "The cure for pain is in the pain" - Rumi --------------------------- I particularly like to help individuals who are experiencing emotional or relationship difficulties to adjust lifelong patterns and discover their authentic selves. I aim to help people experience more fulfillment in life and relationships, manage psychological symptoms, and learn to cope with the pains that accompany growth. I enjoy working with individuals of many diverse backgrounds, and welcome exploration and discussion of personal identities such as race, gender, and LGBTQI identities. Beginning therapy may involve challenging yourself to sit with painful feelings and face your fears. It will be helpful for you to find a safe place to do this hard work. Together, we can make your healing and growth a priority. I am a licensed psychologist committed to building deep and effective therapeutic relationships. I bring a genuine, mindful, warm energy to therapeutic discussions, and am passionate about the work I do.
