Hi there and welcome to my page! I believe everyone needs support from time to time. Sometimes that support comes in the form of having someone truly hear and understand you. Other times, it can involve encouragement and an objective perspective while trying to make changes in your life. No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to offer a safe space for you to gain insight into your life without judgment and find support in the often-difficult process of implementing change. My clients have described me as calming, accepting, caring, and funny. Okay, maybe I added that last one myself, but I do believe in the power of humor and laughter for healing. So sometimes we will laugh, sometimes we will cry, all the while navigating how to live a meaningful, connected, and authentic life. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University and completed my master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Appalachian State University. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. I have over 8 years of experience working with adults in an outpatient setting.
