Elite performance is comprised of three essential components: physical, which pertains to the body’s ability to move; technical, referring to the mastery of sport-specific techniques; and mental, the capacity to execute these skills effectively under high levels of stress. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 97196) and Mental Performance Coach, my focus is on helping athletes integrate all three aspects of elite performance while addressing the mental barriers that may be limiting their success. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Development from Saint Mary’s College of California and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco. Currently in the process of a Masters in Sports Psychology. My training includes multiple evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the TAIS Sports Assessment, and the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). With experience across diverse settings—including mental health clinics, schools, performance gyms, and training centers—I have provided individual and group coaching, workshops, and psychosocial/sports mindset assessments. I also collaborate with coaches to consult on athlete development, goals, and treatment planning, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental and performance excellence.
