Founder and owner, Shakirah Ewell, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (NJ & PA) and a National Certified Counselor with 6 years of clinical practice experience. She has a holistic approach believing that the mind, body and soul are connected. Cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and behavior activation are modalities used in her work. Shakirah also has certificates in Perinatal Mental Health and Spiritual Competency Training. With couples, she draws on the Gottman Method, an evidenced-based therapeutic approach that increases effective communication and emotional connection.
