Chaotic, painful, empty—full, delightful, purposeful; these are just a few of the words that many have used to describe this thing called life. If you feel like the former words describe your life more than the latter words, therapy can be a chance to bridge the gap between the two. I use a compassionate, person-centered focus to help you gain the tools, skills, and knowledge you need to bring more fullness, delight, and purpose into your life while also learning how to navigate the chaos and the pain. I can collaborate with you to navigate difficult relationships, cope with past trauma, and learn how to regulate your emotions. I’ve worked with parents looking for skills to manage big behaviors in their little ones, teens searching for ways to manage the emotional highs and lows of adolescence, and adults hunting for improved boundaries with others and increased self-compassion. I graduated with my MSW from Eastern Washington University in 2019 and have been practicing therapy since then. I have experience working with both children and adults addressing a myriad of concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma. I use compassionate validation and psychoeducation while also focusing on how to overcome the barriers you are facing. I am certified in CBT+ as well as CETA and have training in dialectical behavior therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy. At the end of the day, my goal is to help you find the tools, tips, skills, and tricks that you need in order to live your life in the best way possible.
