Welcome to my practice. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in 1992 when I was just knee-high to a grasshopper. Over nearly 30 years of experience, I've developed a mindful style that makes change less scary and more graceful. My personal journey as a gay, Buddhist, anxious, spiritual, sometimes depressed, nerd over the last 50 years has sculpted me into a compassionate healer. Mind you, I will kick your butt as needed, so it’s not all rainbows and lollipops. You just won’t resent me for it. We’ll use your urge to change and my skill set to sculpt you into the person you want to be. I find that the best approach includes a blend of body-centered methods (somatics), Mindfulness Integrated CBT, art, movement, EMDR, coaching, and any other tool I find along the way. Ain’t no cookie cutters in my office. oh...I also use humor. You are invited to become your most excellent self all the time and in all spaces. Ready to be your own superhero?
