Shani Gold is a licensed clinical social worker who has over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Having received her Bachelor of Arts at Queens College, Shani continued with her graduate training at Hunter College School of Social Worker, where she received a Masters of Social Work. Shani specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults who are struggling with anxiety, mood, ADHD, and difficulty regulating their emotions. She also offers parent consultation and guidance. In her work with children, Shani draws upon her many years of experience of working as a mental health provider in a school, and collaborates with parents, teachers, and outside mental health providers. She uses an integrative approach to therapy, and her style is warm, supportive, and non-judgmental.
