Introduction

Everyone deserves to be well. Here at Wholeness Clinical Mental Health Services, we understand that you do not have to have a mental illness to need guidance and help. We can all benefit from seeking help and consider it wise to ask for help when needed. We serve all people regardless of race, color, background, belief or Spiritual orientation and strive to help you feel heard and empowered. I have worked successfully with a variety of mental health illnesses, including schizoaffective, suicide, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, dissociative disorders, personality disorders, ADD, bipolar, trauma and PTSD among many other issues. I have experience in Group work, family and children and individual counseling. I have been trained in Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, Drug and Alcohol abuse training, CBT-Suicide Prevention for Youth and Adults and CBT Trauma among several other trainings and therapies. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Services, a certification in family and children counseling, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have worked at the University of Texas as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist performing virtual and in-person counseling to students with various mental health issues. I belong to the Golden Key Honors Society, Sigma Alpha Pi, the American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, and I graduated with distinction. I serve as the primary counselor for New Life Brownsville Church and interned for eight months at the Recovery Center in Brownsville, Texas, counseling adults and adolescents with substance abuse, and have taught and been trained at The University of Texas in Recovery Ally Training (RAT), helping students recover from substance abuse.
