Yes, therapy is work because life is complex. You're here, reading this, so you're ready to make changes in your life and need help to make them. I'll walk, ok I'll sit, beside you as you share your struggles and we'll do the work together. Your job is to be open minded, willing to learn about yourself, and to accept the challenges that change requires. My job is to be sure you're safe, truly seen and heard, and that I'm bringing tools to the table that are proven to help. We don't have to get all nerdy and technical about those tools unless you want to, but I want you to know I invest in you by training in solid, well researched treatments. I'll ask you to invest in yourself by engaging with what you're learning so you reach your goals and your triumphs will be entirely yours. Along the way, I'll support you and help you discover your strengths, learn acceptance, and have the compassion to meet yourself and others with the freedom of awareness and authenticity. The rewards are worth the work. Lastly, you should know something about me-I’m pretty shock-proof. I can work with the tough stuff. I’ve heard almost everything there is, so don't worry about embarrassment. I’m human too.
